In Janurary of 1994, I founded a company initially named config.sys, which evolved into a company known as config.com. Inc. which was disolved in August 2015 giving me 21 years of various Internet project types of experiences ranging from Famous Actors, Olympic Gold Medalists, Governments, and even important projects with disclosure agreements. One of the most important projects that I helped design and make reality was for the Akron Public Schools Remote Digital Academy which saved them thousands of tax dollars by allowing them to pay for actual usage of each account instead of the prerequisite minimum monthly fees from around August 2004 through August of 2015.
In 2010, my wife, Rose of blessed memory, and I decided to retire to my mother’s historic property on the Ohio-Erie Canal Towpath Trail just outside Bolivar, Ohio. In 2014, we decided to purchase a land contract from my mother and stepfather. In 2015, we offered an easement for the Ohio-Erie Canal Towpath Trail, where the Greenville-Trey Line intersects several concurrent major trails, including the Buckeye Trail, the American Discovery Trail, and the Great American Rail Trail.
Except for having a few remaining commercial Internet clients, I retired on Social Security in April 2019 with the plan to supplement my retirement by supporting our local communities by selling hot dogs. Of course, all good plans go awry, and COVID-19 shut down the events by 2020, so I started the Towpath Trail Peace Park primitive campsites and automated them using Hipcamp at TowpathTrailPeacePark.com .
More to come….
